Books,
videos and magazines are available on loan for a period of two weeks.
Borrowers are requested to sign out materials in a book provided
for this purpose. Current and back issues of the National Organization
for Women Newsletter, The Zero Population Growth
Reporter, Choice Matters, Southern Poverty Law Center Review and
other publications by national and local women's groups are offered
in the library.
Magazines
available in the Center, include: Ms Magazine, Mother Jones,
Bust, Women in the Arts, Newsweek and Curve. Back issues are also available.
Resource files
are available for use in the Center. Topics include addictions,
affirmative action, African womanism, AIDS, art, breast cancer,
domestic violence, education, ERA, feminism, gay and lesbian issues,
gender studies, literature and women, mental health, National
Organization for Women (NOW), pornography, pregnancy, racism,
rape, religion, safe sex, sex discrimination, social diseases,
sports equity, suffrage movement, violence against women, women
in government, Women's Centers, women of color, women's health
and more. Pamphlets and newsletters addressing many of the above
issues are also available.
