Dear KU
Football 1980 Team Member,
By now,
you should have received information from the Kutztown University
Alumni Relations office concerning our 2005 Homecoming Weekend,
including the 25-year reunion for the class of 1980.
The KU
athletic department would like to use this opportunity to invite
those of you who are coming to homecoming to join us for a special
recognition of the 1980 football team. If you were on the fence
about attending, we are hoping this event will help sway you
to join us.
Our plan
is to have all 1980 team members in attendance join us on the
field during the pre-game ceremonies. At this time, we will
have a special recognition of the 25-year anniversary of the
University’s one and only PSAC East football title.
We will
have a brief reception with snacks and drinks at an end zone
area tent beginning at 12:30 p.m., and will conduct the recognition
ceremony around 12:55 p.m. This will be a great chance for you
to see our new turf field and your alma mater in action. The
Golden Bears will face arch-rival Millersville at 1:05 p.m.
If you
would like to attend, please complete the enclosed reservation
form, and return in the postage paid envelope no later than
October 19. The cost is free, including game admission, for
up to four family members. Additional game tickets can be purchased
at the gate.
Enjoy the
football season, and we hope to see as many of you as possible
at Homecoming!
