The College of Business is hosting an alumni reception from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kutztown Tavern. There will be food items available and a selection of several beer styles. Stop in and enjoy a visit with College of Business faculty and alumni. $11.00 per person.

College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Alumni Networking Panel 9-11 a.m. in the SUB Alumni Auditorium. The endless career possibilities for LA&S Alumni: Where do we go from here? Alumni and current students are invited to join in our discussion regarding the broad scope of professional opportunities available to alumni with a liberal arts & sciences background. Enjoy a breakfast spread while meeting and networking with professionals in your field, as well as learning some insider tips on getting your foot in the door.

College of Visual and Performing Arts - Stepping Out and Starting Up – The Business of Art Live Alumni Panel Presentation 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m, Sharadin Art Building Room 115 It’s an Art Homecoming! Come to meet and interactive with a group of alumni who are working their dreams to be self-employed artists and artisans. If you would like to step out and take the challenge, or if you are in the business of art (seasoned or beginning), plan to attend this Homecoming special! Take advantage of their experiences and join in the discussion. Cookies will be served! Topics include: Find Your Niche/Edge in Current Culture, Branding Your Identity, Marketing Passion and Product, Networking Among the Industry Negotiation Skills, Keeping Momentum Going Through Completion. Plus, your chance to tour Sharadin Art Building before the renovations.

College of Education Networking Breakfast 9 – 11 a.m. in the SUB Room 250
Come reminisce about the “old” days, talk about today and dream about the future as we invite you to a morning of food, fellowship and networking. Join fellow COE alumni for a continental breakfast, share stories and experiences, hear about the latest plans for the College of Education, meet the members of the new COE Alumni Council and discuss plans for building an alumni network.

85th Anniversary of Library Science Dedication of Computer Lab, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Rohrbach Library
Shhhhh! Library Science at Kutztown University is 85 years old! There’s a reunion planned to celebrate. A newly renovated computer lab will be dedicated in memory of Richard Yashek, husband of Rosalye Levine Yashek ’50. Continental breakfast and conversation starts at 9, followed by the dedication at 10 and a special presentation by Dr. Ellie Long, chair of Library Science, at 10:30. The celebration continues at the Alumni Buffet at 11:30.
