University's men's tennis team saw its season come to a close with a
5-2 loss to Ferris (Mich.) State in the first round of the NCAA
Division II Men's Tennis Championships.
Kutztown took a 2-1 lead after doubles, with Mukundan Nandakumar and
Alok Bhide winning first doubles, and Lukas Beman and Johannes
Wingerter winning third. Ferris State, however, roared back. The
Bulldogs won all four of the completed singles matches to get to the
decisive fifth team point.
Kutztown's season comes to a close with a 16-5 record.
