Golden Bears place eighth after 5-0 finish in second day: 
Kutztown women's bowling team finished the Jeanette Lee Invitational in eighth place after a second day 5-0 finish in baker play. The Golden Bears finished the tournament with 9,416 pins and an overall record of 9-2 record. Full Story

Golden Bears go 4-2 in first day of Virginia Tournament: Kutztown women's bowling team is currently in eighth place out of 20 teams in the Jeanette Lee Invitational. The women went 4-2 in six matches today. Kayla Jones, Kayla Stamm, Heather Shoemaker, Stephanie Ray and Jess Abrecht each bowled over 200.  Full Story

Kutztown rises to ninth in monthly NTPCA poll:
The Kutztown University bowling team is ranked ninth in the latest National Tenpins Coaches Association (NTCA) monthly. It is the highest preseason ranking in three-year history of the bowling program. The Golden Bears moved up spot from its preseason ranking. Full Story

Kutztown ready to roll at Jeanette Lee Invitational: The Kutztown University women’s bowling team will conclude the first part of its season on the road, in the Jeanette Lee Invitational in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday December 6. In a unique twist, Kutztown will travel by charter bus with Northeast Conference rivals Sacred Heart, Long Island, and St. Francis to the tournament. Full Story

Kutztown
finishes eighth overall in UMES Tournament: The Kutztown University women's bowling team finished in eighth place out of 20 teams at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore (UMES) Tournament after walking away on Sunday with two wins and only one more loss. The Golden Bears' overall record was eight-five in the three-day tournament. Full Story

Kutztown wins two, loses three in second day at UMES Invitational:
The Kutztown University bowling team added two more wins to their record at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore tournament on Saturday, but lost three. Their current record in the three-day tournament now stands at six wins, four losses for ninth place out of 20 teams. Full Story

Kutztown wins four matches on opening day of UMES Invitational:
The Golden Bears defeated St. Peters, 808-798, Arkansas State, 937-891, Morgan State, 880-858 and Southern, 878-861, to improve their season record to 18-12 overall. Kutztown is in eighth place of the 20-team tournament with 4,376 pins after the opening day of competition. Full Story

Golden Bears close tournament with three wins:
The Kutztown bowling team closed out the two-day Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament winning all three matches. The Golden Bears went 5-2 in the two-day event and are tied for first place with three other NEC teams. Full Story

Kutztown splits matches:
The Kutztown bowling team ended a tough afternoon on opening day of the NEC Conference Tournament, splitting their matches 2-2. The Golden Bears lost their first and third matches to Adelphi 1212-1185 and Sacred Heart 1308-1299. Kutztown beat St. Francis 1273-1265 in the second match and finished out the first day of the tournament beating St. Peter's 1263-1174. Full Story

Kutztown ready to welcome Northeast Conference foes to Berks County:
The Kutztown University women's bowling team will host its first Northeast Conference match on Saturday and Sunday, November 14-15, 2009 at Bowl-a-Rama in Reading.  This will be the first NEC Conference Bowling Meet ever held in Pennsylvania. Full Story

: The Kutztown bowling won three traditional team matches Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears beat conference rivals New Jersey City, 900-898 and FDU 1,055-1,027. Kayla Stamm paced the Golden Bears with a 205.6 average in five matches. Full Story

Kutztown ready to pull out the tricks for Fright Night Invite:
The Kutztown University women’s bowling team will be traveling to Elmwood, New Jersey for the three-day Fright Night Invitational at Farleigh Dickinson this weekend.  They will play in a four-game baker match on Friday, five-traditional-team matches on Saturday, and one-traditional-team match Sunday before the tournament playoffs begin. Kutztown predicted to finish second in Northeast Conference: The Kutztown bowling program was picked to finish second in the Northeast Conference, according to the Northeast Conference Preseason Coach's poll released Wednesday Oct. 28. Last year, in its inaugural NEC season, the Golden Bears finished the 2008-09 season with a 98-54 record, and won the NEC regular season with a 15-3 record. Full Story

KU releases 2009-10 bowling schedule
:

Kutztown University women’s bowling head coach, Joseph Ambrose, has announced his 2009-2010 schedule. It’s an action-packed schedule with trips as far south as Nashville (Tn.) and as far north as Staten Island. In addition, KU will also host three events beginning with Saturday’s fall Baker Tournament at the Berks Lanes in Reading. Full Story
