SHIPPENSBURG, PA - Kristin Miller scored three goals to lead the top ranked Shippensburg University Field Hockey team to a 6-2 victory over Kutztown in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Semifinal Wednesday afternoon.

Mandi Turner had a goal and assist in KU's PSAC semifinal loss to Shippensburg

The Lady Raiders scored twice in the first five minutes to jump out to an early lead.

KU's Lindsey Bozarth scored off a pass from Mandi Turner with 6:46 off the clock to cut the lead in half, but the Raiders scored twice more, including Miller's second goal of the day, to make it 4-1 21:09 into the game.

Turner scored a goal of her own, with an assist by Kelley Healey, to make it 4-2 with just over five minutes left in the first half.  The Lady Raiders, however, iced the game with two goals midway through the second half.

Kutztown falls to 15-6 with the loss, and will await word on a possible berth in the NCAA Playoffs, which will be announced Monday.

Shippensburg advances to Saturday's PSAC Championship game against Bloomsburg, which defeated Indiana (PA), 5-3, on Wednesday in the other semifinal.
