KUTZTOWN, PA - Jess Brady had a double-double to lead Kutztown to
a 91-67 win over Alderson-Broaddus in the final game of the Golden
Bear Classic.
Brady scored 18 points and grabbed down 10 rebounds. She
was 7-of-11 on field goals and a prefect 4-4 on free throws.
Rachel Weidensaul was 5-of-9 from the floor scoring 13 points.
Katie Harlor scored 11 points, while Megan Bainbrige chipped in 10
points while dishing out 11 assists.
Kutztown out-rebounded the Battlers 53-34.
Tia Lafferty and Kim
Nakamura each had 21 points for Alderson-Broaddus, which played the
final four minutes with just four players after Sonya Jones fouled
out.
Kutztown is now 3-0 on the season for the first time since starting 5-0 in 2001-02.

KUTZTOWN, PA - Callie Iorfido and Agnes Michalow led Edinboro to
a 72-57 win over Davis & Elkins in game three of the Golden Bear
Classic at Kutztown University.
Iorfido scored 23 points, dished eight assists and grabbed eight
rebounds. Michalow scored 21 points and pulled down 15
rebounds. Maria Divecchio scored 12 points.
Lauren Flood led Davis & Elkins with 14 points.

COMPLETE STATS
KUTZTOWN, PA - Jess Brady scored 15 points and grabbed 12
rebounds to lead Kutztown to a 71-63 win over Davis & Elkins in game
two of the Golden Bear Classic at KU.
Brady hit 6-of-8 field goals and 3-of-4 free throws. Rachel
Weidensaul scored 12 points, while Tricia McElmoyle added 11 for the
Golden Bears. Monique Boykins scored nine points and pulled
down a game-high 15 rebounds.
Kutztown out-rebounded the Senators 43-29.
The game was tied at 32 at halftime, but KU opened the second
half with a 15-6 run to take a nine-point lead. D&E battled
back with a 8-2 run to pull within three, 49-46 with 8:50 to play.
That was as close as the Senators came, as KU opened a game-high 12
point lead after a 11-2 spurt during which four players scored.
D&E got no closer than seven points the rest of the way.
Kate Bright led D&E with 17 points.

Edinboro to a 97-65 win in game one of the Golden Bear Classic at
Kutztown University. Kelly Calderone scored 21 points, while
Agnes Michalow scored 16, Rae Sherred added 12 and Maria Divecchio
netted 11.
For Alderson-Broaddus, Tiffany Thompson led with 17 points.
Kim Nakamura scored 15, Sonya Jones scored 14 and Kara Newton scored
10. Tia Lafferty scored nine points and was the only player
for the Battlers not to reach double figures.
