4, KU 0 (NCAA First Round) — Kutztown’s
season came to a close with a 4-0 loss to Adelphi in the first round
of the NCAA Northeast Regional in Garden City, NY. All four of the
Panthers goals came in the first half, as Adelphi outshot KU 6-1 in
the first period and 13-5 in the game. Mandi Johnsen (so.
Whitehall/Quakertown) had two saves. KU set records in 2003 for
overall wins (14), PSAC wins (9) and shutouts (8).
