Human Diversity Series

Kutztown University General Education Goal 9: "Develop a respect for human diversity and recognize its importance to society."

Students should recognize and understand the causes of stereotyping and the resultant discrimination based on such things as race, color, religion, creed, sexual orientation, handicap, ancestry, national origin, age, or gender. They should appreciate how other people live and think in order to use that knowledge in relating to the diverse world around them. Students should be made aware that our nation is enriched by its diversity (please visit National Resource on Diversity in Higher Education for more information on Human Diversity in Higher Education).

Call for Proposals

In the Spring 1999 semester, the Curriculum Development Team of the CET hosted and/or supported five events in a Human Diversity Series. We wish to continue this series and herewith invite the university community to suggest programs related to the above stated Kutztown University General Education Goal.
