Welcome to the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching 's 2007 Teachnology Grant webpage. Teachnology is a faculty incentive program designed to improve teaching and learning through the integration of technology in the curriculum.

The following documents will help in the preparation of a Teachnology application:

Application Checklist (2 pages) - This document provides an overview of the Teachnology program and the guidelines for preparing a proposal.

Sample Teachnology Application (3 pages) - This document is an actual 2004 Teachnology Proposal. This excellent proposal is provided courtesy of Professor Robert Flatley.

Technology Skills List (19 pages) - Faculty members typically acquire four or five new technology skills during the course of their project. This document contains self assessment rubrics for technologies that might be used in a Teachnology project. Your choices are not limited to those on this list. After choosing four or five technologies for your project, perform a self assessment of those skills using the form below.

Technology Skills Self Assessment (1 page) - A blank self assessment sheet you complete and include with your proposal package (Microsoft Word document).

Sample Technology Skills Self Assessment (1 page) - This document is a sample of a completed self assessment worksheet.

The Learning Technologies Center staff can help you develop your Teachnology proposal, assist in the selection of appropriate technologies and software for your project, and answer questions you have about the Teachnology program.
