“FOOD FOR THOUGHT”

If you've ever heard the statement, “there is no such thing as a free lunch,” have we got news for you! If you give us your thoughts, we'll give you some free food. Once again this semester, the Provost is funding a series of luncheon discussions pertaining to general education. Whereas the Food for Thought luncheons last semester were more in the nature of brainstorming sessions, this semester we plan to focus your attention on what we are calling “key elements” of a General Education model, one key element per session. At each luncheon we will distribute a handout and give a short presentation, after which we will ask for your thoughts and reactions. The feedback we get from these luncheons and the upcoming IDEAS process will help shape the form of the final model.

The tentative meeting days, times, locations, discussion topics,
and deadlines for reservations are below.
