Strategic Initiatives Subcommittee
Membership
The Strategic Initiatives Subcommittee consists of a Chair being elected by the SP&R Committee and a minimum of three faculty members and three other selected members of the University community. In addition to the chair, a minimum of the three remaining six members shall be current members of the SP&R Committee. The President of the University and the Chair of the SP&R Committee are ex-officio members.
Purpose
The Strategic Initiatives Subcommittee identifies and monitors Kutztown University of Pennsylvania’s strategic initiatives for the Strategic Planning and Resource Committee. The Subcommittee reports to the SP&R Committee on critical strategic issues and helps to link these issues to the budget for recommending priorities. An important ongoing function is to maintain effective communication with the SP&R Committee on the implementation and progress of strategic initiatives. The Subcommittee will seek additional input from the University Community when needed.
Charge
- Monitor the progress of the goals, which have been identified as priorities
- Submit regular reports to the SP&R Committee on progress being made or any problems, which may arise.
- Identify current and future issues, which are critical to the success of the University.
