Flexibility to the max! As a student you have the
option to have a dining flex dollar "declining debit" account.
With a dining flex dollar account you can purchase food at any
time throughout the day. A dining flex dollar account has
no restrictions at any of our dining locations on campus!
To start a dining flex dollar account you will need $100.
You may add dining flex dollars to your account in increments of
$25.
As a parent you worry that your student is not eating 3 meals
a day and/or spending your money on everything but food.
With a dining flex dollar account you, as a parent, are
guaranteed your student is spending their dining flex dollars on
food.
If you selected a Gold or Block meal plan, a $150.00 dining flex
dollar account is already included. After you have spent
the $150.00 dining flex dollars, you may add dining flex dollars
to your account in increments of $25.00.
If you selected a Maroon meal plan, you may also want to open
a dining flex dollar account. With a Maroon meal plan you
are limited to select dining locations on campus. By
adding a dining flex dollar account this will give you the
flexibility to eat at all dining locations on campus. You may open a dining flex
dollar account with a Maroon meal plan for $25.00. You may
add dining flex dollars to your account in increments of $25.00.
Your account is accessed through your student ID card.
IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT THE DINING FLEX DOLLAR PROGRAM:
Unused dining flex balances at the end of the Fall semester will roll
over to the Spring semester. Dining flex dollars are
non-refundable, so you may not want to open an account with more
money than you need. At the end of the Spring semester,
any remaining dining flex dollars are non-refundable.
You can add money to your dining flex dollar account, check
your balance, review transaction history and suspend your card
at any time. Simply contact the Bursar's Office to make a
deposit only or visit
www.kutztown.edu/kucard for all other transactions.
