September 23 - 24, 2010 at Kutztown UniversityJune 15, 2010 We invite you and members of your campus to attend the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education 4th Annual Diversity Summit, hosted by Kutztown University. The summit will be held at Kutztown University on Thursday, September 23 and Friday, September 24, 2010. The theme for this year is Crossing Over Into a New Decade: The Intersection of Diversity And Changing Economics. PASSHE faculty, staff and graduate assistants will present workshops on practical approaches to promoting and implementing diversity within the confines of restricted budgets and new economic challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to attend two (2) keynote lectures, select from multiple workshops and to participate in various networking opportunities. Registration fee is $40 and only checks or money orders will be accepted payable to “Kutztown University.” No credit cards are accepted for registration. Each university may have up to a maximum of fifteen (15) attendees, that can include faculty, staff, students and administrators. Up to five (5) student registration fee waivers are available per institution from the 15 allotted attendees per university. We suggest that each campus establish a point person for the coordination of student registrations so that participants represent the diverse interest of the conference. Hotel accommodations will be provided by Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center located at 101 Doe Mountain Lane, Macungie, PA 18062.
