KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— A late goal by West Chester University dealt the Kutztown
University men’s soccer team a 2-1 loss Saturday in Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference East play at Keystone Field.
Bill Frosoni (sr. North Plainfield, N.J./North Plainfield)
scored with 11:36
left in the game to tie it at 1-1, but West Chester’s Tyler Patrizio headed in a
cross from J.J. DiFerdinando for the game-winner in the 84th minute.
West Chester
(7-5-2, 3-3-1 PSAC East) opened the scoring after a quiet first half with an
unassisted goal by Zac Tassone in the 55th minute.
Matthew Fredericks (jr. Montdale/Lakeland)
made nine saves
for the Golden Bears (2-11-1, 1-5-1 PSAC East).
The Golden Bears will
return to the field at 4 p.m. Tuesday for a non-conference matchup at Holy
Family.
