Nyack, N.Y. — The Kutztown University's men's soccer team held a 2-1second-half lead, but couldn't hold on to defeat host Nyack, falling 3-2 Saturday afternoon.

Down 1-0 at halftime, KU stormed ahead early in the second half.  Jon Balfour (fr. London/Conestoga) scored off an assist from Bill Frosoni (sr. North Plainfield, N.J./North Plainfield) at the 53:37 mark to knot the score at 1-1.  Then, at the 62:39 mark,  Frosoni gave the Golden Bears the lead with an unassisted goal.

Nyack, however, re-tied the score at the 78:00 mark and took the lead for good with 82:52.  Both late goals were scoerd by Samuel Oduro.  Daniel Ocamop scored Nyack's first marker.

Matthew Fredericks (jr. Montdale/Lakeland) had three saves in goal for the Golden Bears (0-2). 

Curtis Julein notched four saves for Nyack (1-0-1).
