Jack
Entriken
Athletic Trainer
Entriken has
been at Kutztown since 1992 as an athletic trainer. In 2004-05, Entriken
served the department as interim director of athletics.
In addition to his duties
in the sports medicine area, Entriken spearheaded the creation and served as
advisor for the Student-Athlete Advisory Council for eight years. He is a member
of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Pennsylvania Athletic
Trainers Society.
Entriken is a 1987 graduate of West Chester University, where he earned a
degree in health and physical education. He went on to earn a master’s degree in
counseling (student personnel) from Shippensburg University in 1992. Between
earning those degrees, Entriken was employed by the Chester County Orthopedic
and Sports Physical Therapy Clinic. He is a graduate of Central High School in
Philadelphia.
Entriken is active in the community of Kutztown, helping to organize youth
sporting events with the Optimists Club of Kutztown.

Martha Johnson
Fiscal Assistant
Martha Johnson has been an administrative assistant in the athletic department
since 1996.
Johnson owns a bachelor's degree in Art History from
Hartwick College, where she was a member of the field hockey and women's
lacrosse teams. She also holds an associate's degree from Allentown
Business School
Prior to
Kutztown, Johnson worked at the Kutztown Publishing Company. She and her
husband, Jim, reside in Kutztown and are the parents of a son, Ben, and a
daughter, Sarah. |
Rob
Knox
Sports Information Director
Rob Knox enters his first year as the Sports Information Director at Kutztown
University. Prior to this position, he spent five years as the Assistant
Athletics Director for Sports Information Management at Lincoln University of
Pennsylvania. He was the Lions’ first full-time Sports Information Director
since 1977. During his time at Lincoln University, Knox was instrumental
in helping the school earn unprecedented national recognition by having five
student-athletes featured in Sports Illustrated, two pieces appear on
ESPN, two stories in the New York Times and two stories on ESPN.com.
In addition, Knox, serves as BC-SIDA (Black College Sports Information
Director’s Association), a member of the CoSIDA (College Sports Information
Directors of America) Board of Directors as a College Division representative
and a member of the CoSIDA social committee. Knox has earned two writing awards,
finishing third nationally (2008) and second in the district (2007) in the Game
Story category of the CoSIDA Fred Stabley Writing Contest. Knox is also a member
of the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association.
Knox is a 1996 graduate of Lincoln University.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. Prior to taking on the
role as Sports Information Director at Lincoln, Mr. Knox worked as a full-time
Sports Reporter for the Delaware County Daily Times for five years. Mr.
Knox is married to Trudell Knox and they reside in Breinigsville. |

Alex
Ogeka
Director of Athletic Advancement
Alex Ogeka
oversees all aspects of development and promotions
for Kutztown’s 21-sport NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics
department.
Ogeka
came to Kutztown from Mansfield University, where he was the
director of development for athletics from 2004-06. While at MU, Ogeka’s duties included cultivation of corporate and private
donors, management of special events and alumni events, and
implementation of marketing and promotions for Mansfield’s athletic
department. Ogeka established Mansfield’s Friends Clubs and managed
the development of the Mansfield University Football Legacy Club.
Prior
to Mansfield, Ogeka served as director of marketing and ticket
operations at the University of Hartford from 2002-04. There, he
managed the marketing, promotional and community outreach efforts
for all 18 Division I men’s and women’s athletics programs. Ogeka
also served as a marketing and promotions associate for the Erie
Otters Hockey Club from 1998-2002.
Ogeka
is graduate of Mercyhurst College, where he earned a bachelor’s
degree in sport marketing.
