am glad to see the team is doing well. I currently teach
Kindergarten for Muhlenberg School District in PA. I coached

son, Tucker, is now 8 months old and is keeping me busy. One
day, I hope to have a girl so I can
get back in to cheering. I would love to hear from people I cheered
with and those girls I coached. Keep up the great work girls!"

love to check in now and then to see the latest news out of KU.
After graduating in 2000, I moved to Delaware. I got married, moved

Delaware, I worked full-time as a visual arts teacher, a UCA
instructor, coached an all-star team and judged my share of
competitions. Currently, I live in Virginia with my husband of five
years, Doug Holmes, '98. He works for The Boeing Company. I stay at
home with my beautiful 2-year-old daughter, Olivia. I will be
teaching this fall for the Prince William County Public Schools.
Cheerleading doesn’t fit into my life right now but I know it will
be part of my life again whether it is coaching or watching Olivia.
I would love to catch up with some of the girls from my time at KU,
especially the crew from about 1997 to 1999! Oh, and Kat, I am with
you on the uniforms girl! Go TARTS!" E-mail:
