Rickey Hummer, '97, played football from 1993-1994 and

Shawn Jones, competed in football and track
from 1989-1992. Two sport All American at KU and Record holder in
two sports. I recently moved to Chicago"Chi-town" were my current

Paul Kent attended KU from September 1994 to December 1996. He
played football (offensive line) in 1994 and 1995, and was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger
Cats of the CFL (Canadian Football League) in March 1996. Paul has worked in the investment field since leaving KU in 1996, and he now owns Keybase Financial Group in St

Bernie Nowotarski, '84, competed in track &
field and football from 1978-81. Nowotarski
and his wife, April, have five children, three daughters and two sons: daughters
Lacey Jo (20), who is in college; and Maggie Mae (11), who is a cheerleader for
Exeter; and Mia Cara (9), who is modeling; sons Giovanni Nolan(4), who is ready
to hit the football field; and Brody Logan (8 months old). Nowotarski is the
general manager of the Reading Express, of the professional indoor football
league. The Express are in the AIFA, and in two season, they are 29-6, including
two division and conference championship. Express lost the league championship
in June, but Nowotarski says he hopes to return and avenge the loss. He has

Andre Reed, played at Kutztown from 1981-84. He went on to play
16 years in the NFL before retiring in 2000. He has been married for 10
years with two children, Auburn (8) and Andre Jr. (6). He started doing Chargers games for FOX6 in San

Bob Regan, ' 65, started four seasons in the defensive
backfield under Bud Heilman. He writes: Now we are moved in and firmly
established in Western NC! We had our first KU guests- Ron & Karen

In 2001, Bob had the good fortune of spending three weeks at the Chicago Enforcers XFL training
camp as a volunteer coach. This is what Bob had to say about the experience
"Head coach Ron Meyer is a friend and at his invitation I was given complete access to everything. Primarily I focused on the defense and gave my
personnel evaluations in staff meetings prior to cuts being made. In games, I charted
the defense for Pete Adrian, defensive coordinator and former head coach at Bloomsburg." If you

Mark Sabatino, '81,

Sabatino has been married to his "college sweetheart," Ana Diaz, for
26 years. Together, they have two daughters, Gabrielle, 24, and
Alexis, 18. Gabrielle is a graduate of
University of Delaware and now works for Vanguard Financial
Group in
Malvern. Alexis is a senior at Owen J Roberts High School,
and hopes to attend the Art Institute in
Philadelphia next year. Ana is a sales vice president at
CIGNA Healthplans. Mark is a sales representative and sales trainer
for Medtronic the world's largest medical device maker selling

He writes: "I am working in the banking field. Right now for IndyMac
bank in their mortgage division. I am still playing football on the
semi pro level for the Philadelphia Celts. In 1992 became head
wrestling coach for St Josephs HS Hammonton, NJ. I had the
most medalists in 1 year in the history of the school in the
district 30 tournament. It was a 1 year contract which I did

1999-2001. Shoemaker and his wife, also a KU alum, celebrated their
one-year wedding anniversary in June and they are expecting their
first child in September. They live in the Lehigh Valley and
Shoemaker is currently playing semi-professional baseball. Shoemaker

and KU Hall of Famer. At age 69, I still play senior softball
and senior baseball all summer in the Delaware County, PA area and
tournaments all over the country. Then I ski all winter at my
place in NH. I travel a lot and try to see as many KU games as
possible and urge you guys to do the same and also to donate some
$$$ to the football program. I have
wonderful memories of my days at Kutztown and hope you do too.
Some of my old teammates say I bleed maroon and gold. That's
