Tim Barshinger, '96, ran track and cross country for KU from 1992-96. His greatest accomplishments as a student-athlete were placing third in the 1994 PSAC 1500 meters, placing 14th at the 1994 PSAC cross-country championships, and earning the CoSIDA Scholar Athlete Award. He graduated from KU in 1996, summa cum laude. Tim is currently a teacher and track and cross-country coach at Dallastown High School. Keith Dieterle competed for cross country and track & field from 1988-92.  Transfered to nursing school in Lancaster, PA. Now a certified school nurse at Conestoga Valley Middle School in Lancaster. The first male school nurse in Lancaster County. Coaches cross-country and track & field. Robert Heller, '81, was the head cross country/assitant track & field coach from 1984-90.  He was named the assistant athletic director for compliance and eligibility at Kent State University on July 26.  He had previously been the assistant AD at Slippery Rock.

P. Matthew Henry participated in Cross-Country and Track and Field from 1988-1990. After spending several years away from school, he returned to acedemics in the Fall of 1995 and recently became a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in History.  Matthew is currently enrolled in a Master's program at WVU, studying towards a Master's Degree in Medieval Studies and eventually a Phd in the same field.

Roger Jackson, competed in track and field from 1987-1989. He graduated from KU in 1990. He is currently serving as VP/COO of the Educational Advancement Alliance, Inc. in Philadelphia, and completing his Doctorate at Seton Hall University. He recently served as varsity basketball coach at Norristown High School, and as a high school principal at Paul Robeson High School in Philadelphia. He is the father of two daughters, Malinda and Jael. Shawn Jones, competed in football and track from 1989-1992. Two sport All-American at KU and Record holder in two sports. I recently moved to Chicago"Chi-town" were my current employer relocated me. I'm a corporate executive for Bank of America and a proud father of one daughter, Ivanna Ashley Jones. Just wanted to say what's up to the nastyiest "D" of all time 89-92 and my fellow DB's. Tony Lesko, '86, competed in cross country and track & field from 1980-85.  Tony says: "I currently work for the FBI in Washington, DC. Prior to moving back to Virginia, my wife and I lived in Johnstown, PA. There I was an Assistant Girls Track Coach for Richland Township. In 1998, my last year of coaching, I coached 3 freshmen and 1 junior to the PIAA State Track and Field Meet. They qualified for the 3200 meter relay. My wife's name is Susan and I have two boys (Anthony-9 & Richie-7). I currently coach my son's T-ball baseball team. Rob McCormick, participated in Track & Field and Cross Country from 1991-95.  He is the Community Director for the March of Dimes.  His job entails the coordination of special events in a given community.  Currently (July 2000), he works with the Southeastern PA Chapter of MOD.  He organizes WalkAmerica sites and works with local amusement parks like Sesame Place, in addition to working with celebrity endorsers of the March of Dimes.  He has been accepted to compete in the 2000 New York City Marathon, which he is busy training for this summer, on behalf of the March of Dimes as a "tribute to all the dedication that the staff and volunteers have for the cause and mission of the March of Dimes.  He can be reached via email at RMcCormick@modimes.org

Bernie Nowotarski, '84, competed in track & field and football from 1978-81.  "I haven't up-dated this in a few years, but my oldest Lacey is 19, Maggie is 10, Mia is 8 and Giovanni is 3. Oh yea , one more due in January of 2007, April, my wife is doing great. I am presently the Assistant
General Manager and Defensive Back Coach for The Reading Express, a professional arena team that plays in Reading at The Sovereign Center. We are part of the AIFA (American Indoor Football Association). We won the Northern Division last season and lost in the semi-final game, we ended the season 13-3. Not bad for a first year expansion team.

Dan O'Neill, '01, competed on the KU cross country and track and field teams from 1997-2001. He writes, " I am currently taking a break from running after surviving a four-story fall. Mike Ryan, '93, completed from 1986-1990. Mike is in his fifth year of teaching history at Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford, NJ.  Mike is the head boys and girls cross country coach and head boys spring track coach.   His boys cross country team won three straight league titles from 2003-2005 and the Bergen County title in 2005.  His girls team won league titles in 2005 and 2006. He is also the co-head winter track coach with his fiancé at Cliffside

Bart Wasiolek, graduated in 1991, competed from 1986-1991. Wasiolek was a two-time All-American in the 3,000 Steeplechase and national qualifier in cross country. Two-time PSAC champion in the steeple. He currently lives in Hamden, Conn., with his wife Anna and daughters Lila and Tess. Wasiolek teaches and coaches in Shelton, Conn. He recently earned his master's degree in health and physical education. In 2007, his boys cross country team finished fifth in the state and the girls team finished 10th. In 2005, his boys 3,200-meter relay team won the state championship, while setting the meet record. The team placed eighth at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in 7:49.56, the second fastest state and New England high school time ever. He is still a competitive runner and is looking forward to competing at the masters level in 2008 and beyond. Martha Anderson, '91, competed in track & field from 1987-92.  She also worked in the sports medicine department, under Rennie Sacco for five years.  After graduation, she completed course Work at West Chester University for Athletic Training. She went on to get a master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in exercise physiology/ athletic training.
