Reserve a Date

Make your next special event GOLDEN with Avalanche the Golden Bear. Avalanche is now available for appearances both on and off campus.
Information needed for appearances:
Your name and contact information (e-mail and phone)
Purpose of appearance
The date, time and place of your event

You can reserve Avalanche for your event by using this form

Appearance fees for Avalanche are as follows:
University events --- No Charge*
Off-campus events (non-profit organizations) --- No Charge*
Off-campus events (PR related) --- negotiable
Off-campus events (business or private events) --- $35 per hour plus travel expenses+

*60-minute appearance, including performer breaks
+maximum 2 hours, including performer breaks

Please submit your appearance request at least two week's prior to your event. All reservations will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and will be fulfilled depending on performer availability and management objectives. Mascot availability is limited when KU classes are not in session (i.e. holidays, winter and summer break, etc.) and during summer session.

Price:

$25 for Off Campus (within 2 miles of KU Campus)

$20 for KU Students and Faculty On Campus

Includes:

· 15 minute personal visit from Avalanche

· Two balloons, autographed picture of Avalanche, personalized card, and photo to capture the moment
