KU women sweep Cheyney at home 9-0

KUTZTOWN, Pa. — The Kutztown University women's tennis team swept Cheyney University 9-0 with all six singles players winning 6-0, 6-0 in their matches.

Rohini Das (jr. Calcutta, INDIA) defeated Imani Johnson at No. 1 singles and teamed with Tess Wright (so. Lewisburg/Lewisburg) to win 8-0 at No. 3 doubles against Andera Wilder and Erneisha Moore. Wright defeated Tiffany Stanley at No. 4 singles.

Barbara Joerns (jr. Ludwigshafen, GERMANY) won at No. 2 singles, defeating Hana Wilder. She also teamed with Shir Suez (jr. Even Yehuda, ISREAL) to win 8-1 at No. 2 doubles. Suez also beat Shakyra Dawson-Clark at No. 5 singles.

Sabrina Arnaud (jr. Pintendre, CANADA) and Nicole Devine (fr. Allentown/Allentown Central Catholic) teamed to win 8-0 at No. 1 singles, and Arnaud defeated Vernae Coleman at No. 3 singles.

Chelsea White (fr. Landenberg/Avon Grove) also picked up a win, defeating Andera Wilder in the No. 6 singles match.
