CLARION, Pa. — The Kutztown University women’s tennis team swept the top four singles slots and won two out of three doubles matches to defeat Clarion 6-3 Saturday.

Rohini Das (jr. Calcutta, INDIA) and Barbara Joerns (jr. Ludwigshafen, GERMANY) combined to win first doubles 8-1, while Sabrina Arnaud (jr. Pintendre, CANADA) and Nicole Devine (fr. Allentown/Allentown Central Catholic) won 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Das won 6-2, 6-0 over Jaclyn Metzger at No. 1 singles and Joerns won 6-3, 6-0 against Kassie Leuschel in second singles. Arnaud kept the streak going with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Sharayah Campbell and Devine added a point with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Devin Rombach.

KU (3-0) will return to the court on Sept. 27 for the ITA Regionals at Bloomsburg.
