Golden Bears Top IUP

CLARION, Pa. — The Kutztown University women’s tennis team took down IUP 7-2 at Clarion on Friday evening.

Rohini Das (jr.Calcutta, INDIA) and Barbara Joerns (Ludwigshafen, GERMANY) combined to win first doubles 8-1and first and second singles, and each with shutouts in singles. Sabrina Arnaud (jr. Pintendre, CANADA) and Nicole Devine (Allentown/Allentown Central Catholic) were 8-1 winners at second doubles. Arnaud won third singles 6-0, 6-0 and Devine won 6-1, 6-1 in fourth singles. 

Chelsea White (fr. Landenberg/Avon Grove) teamed with Shir Suez (jr. Even Yehuda, ISREAL) lost 8-9  at third doubles. Suez lost 4-6, 3-6 at the fifth seed, while White won 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 at sixth singles.
