MEN: Kutztown 9, Lancaster Bible 0 | BOXSCORE

KUTZTOWN, Pa. — The Kutztown University men’s tennis team swept Lancaster Bible 9-0 Wednesday in non-conference play.

Santiago Baquerizo (sr. Guayaquil, ECUADOR) and Lukas Labitsch (sr. Bruck an der Mur, AUSTRIA) led the Golden Bears (3-2) winning their No. 1 doubles match 8-0, and the No. 1 and 2 singles matches, respectively.

Baquerizo was one of four Golden Bears to win the singles competition in straight sets of 6-0, 6-0. Jonathan Goulet (jr. Quebec, CANADA), Andrew Torrealba (jr. Pembroke Pines, Fla./Charles W. Flanagan) and Arpit Sharma (jr. Kolkata, INDIA) did as well.

The KU men's team will return to the courts at 3 p.m. Friday when it hosts a non-conference matchup against Adelphi.
