KU DROPS ITS  MATCH TO CONCORDIA

Concordia 9, Kutztown 0

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. — The Kutztown University men's tennis team lost 9-0 on Sunday against Concordia.

Santiago Baquerizo (sr. Guayaquil, ECUADOR) and Lukas Labitsch (sr. Bruck an der Mur, AUSTRIA) lost their No. 1 doubles match to Andrey Boldarev and Alex Grubin by a score of 8-4.

Baquerizo fell 6-4, 6-0 in No. 1 singles and Labitsch dropped his No. 2 singles 7-6, 6-0.

The No. 2 doubles team of Kaushik Das (Assam, INDIA) and Rubens Vianna (sr. Belo Horizonte, BRAZIL) were defeated 8-5. Also losing 8-5 was the No. 3 doubles team of Arpit Sharma (jr. Kolkata, INDIA) and Jonathan Goulet (jr. Quebec, CANADA).

Andrew Torrealba (jr. Pembroke Pines, Fla./Charles W. Flanagan) lost in the No. 6 singles by a score of 6-2, 6-3.

The Golden Bears will return to the courts on Tuesday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contest with West Chester.
