Barbara Joerns (jr. Ludwigshafen, GERMANY) and Rohini Das (jr. Kolkata, INDIA) paved the way for the Golden Bears with a convincing 8-0 win in the first doubles slot. Joerns won her singles match by a score of 6-0, 6-0.

Also with wins were second doubles Sabrina Arnaud (Quebec, Canada/Levy Laurzon) and (Nicole Devine fr. Allentown/Allentown) with a 8-1 win over Katrina Dockum and Natalie Grieci. Third doubles Shir Suez (jr. Even Yehuda, ISREAL) and Tess Wright (so. Lewisburg/Lewisburg) defeated Jennifer Miller and Natasha Adorno 8-2.

In first singles Das defeated Aimone 6-0, 6-1. Arnaud defeated Grieic 6-0, 6-0 in third singles. Devine came back for a 2-6, 6-0, 1-0 win over Dockum in fourth singles. Tess Wright (so. Lewisburg/Lewisburg) defeated Miller 6-4,6-0 at the fifth slot. Chelsea White (fr. Landenburg/Avon Grove) finished off Daisy Pendergast in sixth singles 6-1, 6-1.
