LEWISBURG, Pa. — Melissa Fellenbaum (fr. Landisville/Hempfield) topped the Kutztown University women’s indoor track and field team’s performance Friday and Saturday at the Bison Open at Bucknell University.

Fellenbaum finished tied for first in the pole vault (10-10) in the first day of the two-day competition.

Rachel Weigle (jr. Red Lion/Red Lion) finished third behind Fellenbaum with a vault of 10-4.

Kristin Cupido (so. Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) took fifth in the 5,000 (18:14.72) and Kristy Ulrich (fr. Duncannon/Susquenita) finished eighth (18:38.82).

Ashley Pinter (so. Bethlehem/Liberty) finished second in the weight throw (50-5 1/4) and fifth in the shot put (39-10 1/2).

Jill Kostishion (fr. Hilltown/Pennridge) had a second-place finish in 500 dash, with a time of 1:22.73.

Joanna Horstmann (sr. Downingtown/Downingtown West) had a fourth-place finish in the mile, posting a time of 5:09.91.

The women will return to action on Friday at the New Balance Games in New York.

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Cody Hartzler (sr. Belleville/Indian Valley) led the Kutztown University men’s indoor track and field team with one of its two second-place finishes at the Bison Open, recording a jump of 6-6 1/4 in the high jump.

Jason Rebuck (jr. Southampton/William Tennent) placed second in the weight throw with a toss of 52-4 1/2.

Chris Boutsikaris (sr. Newton, N.J./Newton) was fourth with a throw of 51-5 1/2.

In the 400, Kendel Dixon (jr. Atglen/Octorara) claimed third with a time of 50.62.

T.J. Longmore (jr. Lititz/Manheim Twp.) scored a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles (8.58).

Justin Germani (so. Birdsboro/Daniel Boone) was fourth in the pole vault (14-3 1/4).

Matt Bailey (fr. Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey) placed in sixth in the 500 with a time of 1:13.69.

The men will return to action on Friday at the New Balance Games in New York.
