Shot Put – 1. Blair Maginnis (Moravian) 47-5 1/2, 2. Joe Tritto (Muhlenberg) 44-10 3/4, 3. Sam Wall (Kutztown) 43-9 1/4, 4. Rob Johnson (West Chester) 42-9 3/4, 5. Marc Francola (Bloomsburg) 42-4, 6. Jason Rebuck (Kutztown) 41-5.

Selinsgrove, Pa. — The Kutztown University men's throwers had three of the top four finishers in the 35-lb weight toss in the Orange and Maroon Classic at Susquehanna University on Saturday afternoon.

KU's only participants at the classic were the throwers.

In first-place was Chris Boutsikaris (sr. Newton, N.J./Newton) with a throw 54-8 3/4. Jason Rebuck (jr. Southampton/William Tennent) took second-place with a throw of 51-11. Finishing in fourth-place was Sam Wall (so. Newville/Big Spring), throwing 47-9 1/4.

The Golden Bears had a third-place finish out of Wall, with a throw of 43-9 3/4 in the shot put. Rebuck finished in sixth in the shot put with a throw of 41-5.

The KU men and women track and field teams will return to action on Friday at the Collegeville Classic at Ursinus College.
