KU women "B" team finishes second at ESU
EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Kutztown University's
women's cross country team placed second at the Nevins Invitational
at East Stroudsburg University.
With
KU's usual front runners resting for next week's PSAC Championships,
KU's B team led the way to the second place finish. KU scored
57 points, with East Stroudsburg winning with 20. Drew (71),
Baptist Bible (108), Lancaster Bible (124) and Cheyney (166) rounded
out the team standings.
Individually, Kristin Green finished eighth
with time of 21:09 on the 5K course. Holly Pinkerton
was ninth in 21:16. Katelyn Katzgrau finished 13th in
21:33, followed by Nicole Sirico (14th, 21:34) and Becky Webb
(20th, 21:59). Michele Celenza placed 23rd with a time
of 22:44.
KU will be in action next when it hosts the PSAC
Championships next Saturday.
