The Golden Bears are ranked 19th
in the national poll, released on Wednesday Oct. 7, 2009.
The Golden Bears, who were picked to finish
fourth overall
in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference by the preseason
coaches’ poll previews, are
behind Shippensburg (No. 1) and Slippery Rock (No. 2) in the
Atlantic Region. In the national rankings, this is the second
consecutive week Kutztown has maintained a top 20 seed.

individual time records as well.
Junior

finished fifth with a time of 21 minutes, 38 seconds. She now holds
the KU school record for fastest time on the course. Senior

in 22:15 for 21st place.
Freshman
Becca Brandt (Cleona/Cedar Crest), who has enjoyed
stellar performances this season, finished five seconds after
Dingman for 22nd place.
Kutztown returns to action this weekend, when it competes at the
Lafayette Leopard Invitational on Oct. 17 and at East Stroudsburg
University’s Nevins Invitational @ East Stroudsburg on Oct. 24.
