Wilson (Stamford, CT./Stamford), Mike Gardier

and Chris Medina (Kennett Square/Kennett) were All-PSAC East
Division
second-team honorees.
Dineen
earned his post-season honors after becoming the KU-record
holder for field goals made in a single season with 17. He
shattered the school career-record with 35 field goals over
the past three seasons. This was Dineen's first selection to the
PSAC East
all-conference team.
Wilson
earned his third-straight All-PSAC East nod. The senior running
back, a first-team selection a year ago, led the Golden Bears in
rushing yards (735), rushing touchdowns (four), attempts (140) and
yards per game (68.2). Wilson, who finished his career with 2,173
yards, rushed for more than 130 yards in two games and had a
season-long 77-yard touchdown run in the
season-opening win over Saint Anselm.
Gardier is
a PSAC East second-team selection for the fourth straight year. In
his senior season, Gardier made 53 tackles, 36 solo, while playing
in nine games. He forced and recovered one fumble and broke up three
passes. Gardier was a second team selection following his freshman
year at Mansfield.
Irwin and
Medina are first-time All-PSAC East selections. Irwin led the Golden
Bears in tackles with 92, 54 of which were solo. He also added 10.5
tackles for loss, while recording one quarterback hurry and two pass
breakups.
Medina's 55 tackles were fifth
on the team. The
senior defensive tackle made 3.5 tackles for loss and had 1.5 sacks.
Medina also forced one fumble and recovered one.
The Golden
Bears finished the 2009 season with a 3-8 record.
