led six players in double-digits as
the
Kutztown University men’s
basketball team won 127-65 over Penn State-Abington in a
non-conference matchup Tuesday at Keystone Arena.

Dennis scored 23 points as the Golden
Bears (9-0) set a new school record with 127 points, beating
the old record of 116, which was set against Trenton State in 1960.
Ryan Washington (so. Philadelphia/Wissahickon)
and
Steve Coffey (so. Reading/Wilson)
each set career-highs in point
totals with 21 and 14, respectively, and
Mark Bower (sr. West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford)
tied his career-high with 14.
Coffey also had career-high marks in assists with six and rebounds
with five. Bower had a career-best 11 rebounds for the
double-double.
Andre Woodlin (sr. Philadelphia/Central)
finished with 18 points, and
Dave Ben (sr. Coatesville/Coatesville)
had 15.
With his 15 points,
Ben moved into second place all-time on KU scoring list with 1,530,
passing Butch Hills (1985-89). Ben is now 152 away from tying the
all-time leader, Lock Jennings (1989-93).
The Golden Bears shot 61.6 percent from
the floor (53-of-86), including 8-for-20 from 3-point range.
Omar Ford-Bey (fr. Chester/Girard College),
who had seven points, hit a
3-pointer with 3:21 left to push KU’s point total to where it had
never been before, giving the Golden Bears a 119-58 lead.
The Golden Bears, who have won nine
straight games, will travel to Gannon for a Pennsylvania State
Athletic Conference crossover at 3 p.m. Saturday.
