KU All-Sport Award Winners

The following are the winners of Kutztown University Athletics' All-Sport Award Winners.  Descriptions for each award are detailed below.

Coach of the Year

This award is presented yearly to the top coaches at Kutztown University.  Prior to 1993, one award was given to the top coach for all sports.   Since then, two awards have been given, one for coaches of men's sports, and one for coaches of women's sports.  The Men's Athletics Coach of the Year is named in memory of Dr. Dennis Roth.  The Women's Athletics Coach of the Year is named in honor of Dr. Dorothy Moyer.

Male Senior Athlete of the Year

This award is presented based on four-year career accomplishments for male student athletes.  It was first presented in 1993.

Female Senior Athlete of the Year

This award is presented based on four-year career accomplishments for female student athletes.  It was first presented in 1993.

Male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year

This award is presented based on four-year career accomplishments for male student athletes based on a combination of academic and athletic success.  It was first presented in 2005.

Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year

This award is presented based on four-year career accomplishments for female student-athletes based on a combination of academic and athletic success.  It was first presented in 2005. 

Male Athlete of the Year

This award is presented based on accomplishments by male student-athletes during the academic year in which is its presented.  It was first presented in 1987.

Female Athlete of the Year

This award is presented based on accomplishments by female student-athletes during the academic year in which is its presented.  It was first presented in 1987.

Male Rookie of the Year

This award is presented based on accomplishments by male student-athletes during their first year of intercollegiate athletic competition.   It was first presented in 1993.

Female Rookie of the Year

This award is presented based on accomplishments by female student-athletes during their first year of intercollegiate athletic competition.   It was first presented in 1993.
