Bowling Green and
Kutztown played a thriller that went right down to the
wire before KU snatched victory from the jaws of defeat
in the dying minutes to win 27-23.
BGSU was up 23-21 with around three minutes to go,
which is when the Golden Bears pulled it out of the fire
with the game-winning try. Nick Viviani scored all of
Bowling Green’s points via two tries, three penalty
goals, and two conversions. Mike McNallen (2), Marco
Cardillo, and Marco Barnard got on the score sheet for
KU.
