Career
2009	As A Freshman: Houck had a .390 batting average to lead the Golden Bears in hitting. He played in all 51 games and started in 50. He also led KU in home runs (7), hits (64), runs scored (52), total bases (100), slugging percentage (.610) and on-base percentage (.487). His 13 doubles, 35 RBIs and 26 base-on-balls were each second most on the team. Houck was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division Rookie of the Year.
