Career	Highlights: Gardier, a transfer from Mansfield, started in 20 games at safety in two seasons for the Golden Bears. He is the team's leading returning tackler after recording 74 stops in 2007 and was second in 2008 with 72 tackles, including 46 solo tackles. He has 11 tackles for a loss and five sacks. He had one interception, three forced fumbles and eight pass breakups. As a freshman at Mansfield, he led the team in tackles with 84 and had four pass breakups.
