2008

As A Freshman: Mehaffey started in 10 games and played in 14. She scored a goal from the defensive position, a game-winner in a 3-1 win against Millersville on Oct. 21. As a defensive back, she helped the defense record seven shutouts and a 1.01 GAA.

High School

Highlights:
Mehaffey is a two-time all-state selection in 2006 and 2007 and an All-Colonial Conference First Team selection in 2006 and 2007. She earned a second team all-conference nod in 2005. As a lacrosse player, Mehaffey scored more than 100 career goals and was a four-year starter and an all-conference pick in 2007.

As A Freshman: Mehaffey led the Golden Bears in scoring in her first season with 41 goals, including one gamewinner. Her 41 goals ranks third all-time at KU for single-season scoring. She was tied for first on the team with 11 assists and led the Golden Bears in caused turnovers with 35. Mehaffey had 41 groundballs. In a win over Edinboro, she notched six goals and two assists.
