2009

Highlights:
Smith competed in 80 sets for the Golden Bears in her sophomore season. Her 44 service aces ranked second and 231 digs were third for KU. Smith also recorded six kills.

Smith, as a freshman, competed in 107 sets, recording a team-high 424 digs. She also had 23 assists, 30 service aces and nine kills.

Smith is a 5-foot-5 libero/defensive specialist who earned two varsity letters at Delone Catholic High School in her junior and senior seasons. Smith is also an accomplished gymnast, winning the Shipley Distinguished Achievement Award for her accomplishments. She's been competing in gymnastics for 10 years.
