NAMED NEC CO-BOWLER OF THE WEEK
KUTZTOWN,
Pa.
— The Kutztown University women's bowling teams
Jacquelyn Heimbach (sr. Easton/Easton) was named
the Northeast Conference (NEC) Co-Bowler of the Week.
Heimbach marks the fourth Golden Bear
(72-32, 11-1 NEC) roller to win the NEC weekly honors. She
shares the honor with St. Francis' (N.Y.) bowler Alexandra
Stein.
This past weekend at the Northeast
Conference's second meet of the season, Heimbach led KU with
a team-high 195.3 average on their way to a 6-0 weekend.
She had game-high's of 209 twice, in wins
over Adelphi and No. 2 ranked Farleigh Dickinson, and her
weekend high of 225 in the Golden Bear's win over St.
Francis (N.Y.).
Heimbach and the rest of the Golden Bears
will compete this weekend in the Holiday Bowl at Alabama
A&M.

KU
MEN'S BASKETBALL RANKED 24TH IN D-II, THIRD IN REGION
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University men’s basketball team is ranked
24th in the NABC/Division II Coaches Poll and third in the
Atlantic Region poll after winning its
11th straight game and 22nd overall on the 2008-09 season.
Findlay
(24-0) is ranked No. 1, ahead of No. 2 Long Island-C.W. Post
(22-0), the only undefeated teams in the top 25. KU (22-3)
is one of two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference teams
ranked in the top 25 with Gannon at sixth (22-3).
Under ninth-year coach
Bernie Driscoll, KU has has
been in the top 25 poll five times. Overall, the Golden Bears have been
ranked in the top 25 nine times.
Driscoll, who is 136-108 at
KU, led the 2004-05 team into the top 25 for four straight
weeks, peaking at No. 15 on Dec. 21, 2004.
The
1987-88 squad was ranked in four polls, including the
program’s highest ranking of 13th, which came on Jan. 4,
1988.
In the region, KU moved
from fifth to third in the Feb. 25 poll. Gannon is first and
Virginia Union is second.
This
season, the Golden Bears have been led by
Dave Ben (sr. Coatesville/Coatesville),
the PSAC’s leading scorer with 22.1 points per game.
Stephen Dennis (jr. West Chester/Henderson)
is third in the PSAC in scoring, averaging 20.4 points per
game.
The
Golden Bears will host Cheyney at 8 p.m. Wednesday for a
chance to win the PSAC East title outright. A win also would
complete the perfect regular season at home, as the Golden
Bears are currently 13-0 at Keystone Hall after defeating
Shippensburg 103-75 Saturday.

GOLDEN BEAR THROWERS GET PSAC WEEKLY HONORS
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
—
Chris Boutsikaris (sr. Newton, N.J./Newton) and
Ashley Pinter (so. Bethlehem/Liberty) earned the
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's field Athlete
of the Week honors.
Boutsikaris receives the honor after a
personal-best in the 35-pound weight throw. His mark of 55-0
1/2 was good enough for first place at the Susquehanna
Invitational this past weekend, which ranks third in the
PSAC on the season.
Pinter claimed top honors in the weight
toss and shot put at the Susquehanna Invitational this past
weekend. Her weight throw of 51-5 1/4 was the second longest
toss in the PSAC this year, while her shot put toss of 43-3
1/4 is a PSAC best this season.
The Golden Bears will take part in the
PSAC Championships this weekend at East Stroudsburg's
Koehler Fieldhouse.

HONORED WITH NFHCA ACADEMIC TEAM AWARD
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University field hockey team earned the 2008
National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II
National Academic Team Award, finishing with the best GPA in
Division II.

who will enter her 30th season in the fall 2009, has helped
her team earn the NFHCA Team Academic Award by finishing in
the top five in Division II in team GPA for sixth straight
season.
The
Golden Bears, who went 13-6 in 2008, recorded a 3.51 team
GPA, edging out Slippery Rock (3.49) for the top spot. C.W.
Post was third with a 3.42 and Mercyhurst College was fourth
with 3.34. Millersville (3.31) was fifth.
KU was
one of 18 field hockey programs in Division II to post a 3.0
or higher. Eight of the 18, including KU, play in the
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
Last
season, 29-year head coach Wesner’s squad was second in the
nation with a 3.38 GPA.

KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— For the second time in three weeks,
Stephen Dennis (jr. West Chester/Henderson) was
named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East
Division Player of the Week, after scoring 49 points and
dishing out 11 assists.
Dennis
led all scorers with 26 points, en route to a 76-66 win over
visiting West Chester on Wednesday. He also recorded five
blocks and four assists in the win.
In a 103-75 win on Saturday over
Shippensburg, Dennis dropped 23 points and dished out
nine assists. Dennis also brought down five rebounds
and three steals in the win that clinched at least a share
of the PSAC East for the Golden Bears (22-3, 11-1 PSAC
East).
This is the third time this season
that Dennis has received the weekly honor. He is
joined by fellow teammates
Dave Ben (sr. Coatesville/Coatesville), three times,
and once by
Ryan Washington (so. Philadelphia/Wissahickon) to
get the honor.
The Golden Bears will finish out the
regular season this week, with a home game against Cheyney
on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and on the road at Bloomsburg on
Saturday.

KU SOFTBALL PROJECTED BY COACHES TO WIN PSAC EAST
KUTZTOWN, Pa. —
The Kutztown University
softball team has been predicted to win the Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division, in voting
conducted by the division’s coaches.
KU
received all five first-place votes in the
new-look PSAC East coaches’ poll. The Golden Bears were
followed by Shippensburg, East Stroudsburg, Millersville and
West Chester.
With the expansion of the PSAC to include Mercyhurst
and Gannon, the PSAC has been split from two to three
divisions. Lock Haven was projected to win the new PSAC
Central Division, and California (Pa.) was picked to win the
PSAC West.
KU, under 22nd-year head coach Judy
Lawes, is the two-time defending PSAC East champions. The Golden Bears were 48-14 overall, 21-3 in the PSAC East in 2008.
The Golden Bears are led by catcher
Ashley Fitzgerald (sr. Kitchener, ONTARIO /Resurrection), the defending PSAC East Player of the Year
and a consensus 2008 All-American. First baseman

BEN NAMED LEHIGH VALLEY SMALL COLLEGE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
KUTZTOWN, Pa. —
Dave Ben (sr. Coatesville/Coatesville)
was named the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Media
Organization’s Player of the Year for the third straight
season Tuesday.
Ben, who is second in the Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference in scoring with 22.4 points per game, has helped
the 2008-09 Kutztown University men’s basketball team to a
20-3 overall record, which includes two winning streaks of
nine games.
KU is currently in first place at 9-1 in the PSAC East after
winning nine straight divisional games.
Ben has averaged
23.8 points over the last nine games, including a 36-point
performance at West Chester, where he hit a school record
eight 3-pointers.
Also during the
nine-game winning streak, Ben posted 22 points at home
against Mansfield on Jan. 21, moving him into first place on
KU’s scoring list. He currently has 1,857 points.
In addition to his
22.4 points per game, Ben is averaging 5.6 rebounds per
game. He has 90 assists, 56 steals and 16 blocks. He’s
shooting 51.5 percent from the field, including 39.5 percent
(45-of-114) from 3.
During his four
years at KU, Ben has an average of 17.6 points per game.
He’s started in 103 games and since he first appeared on the
floor of Keystone Hall, KU has won 72 games.
Ben
becomes the first men’s player to win the LVSCBMO Player of
the Year award three times. Alyssa Antolick (DeSales/East
Stroudsburg) was a three-time winner on the women’s side in
2004-05 and 2007.
The award is given to the top player in the Lehigh Valley
area. Voting is conducted by the organization's members,
including media from the Lehigh Valley, as well as coaches
and sports information directors from Cedar Crest, Delaware
Valley, DeSales, East Stroudsburg, KU, Moravian and
Muhlenberg.
The player of the year award is named in memory of longtime
East Stroudsburg sports information director Pete Nevins,
who was one of the founding members of the organization.
Nevins passed away in 2007.
Ben will lead the
Golden Bears back onto the court to start a three-game
homestand, starting with a PSAC East contest against West
Chester at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Keystone Hall.

GOLDEN BEARS PICKED
TO FINISH THIRD IN PSAC EAST
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
—
The Kutztown University baseball team was picked to finish
third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern
Division, in the preseason baseball poll as voted on by the
league’s coaches.
West Chester was chosen at the top of the PSAC East,
receiving five first-place votes. Shippensburg was chosen to
finish second, despite being ranked No. 1 in the Atlantic
Region preseason poll by the National Collegiate Baseball
Writers Association. The NCBWA has West Chester at No. 2 and
the Golden Bears at No. 5. Shippensburg returns to the PSAC
East this season after spending the last several years as a
member of the PSAC West.
The Golden Bears at No. 3 were followed by Mansfield and
Millersville, who each received one first-place vote.
Rounding out the East were East Stroudsburg then
Bloomsburg.
The PSAC West was led by Slippery Rock with three
first-place votes. Predicted at two and three, respectively,
were Indiana (Pa.) and California (Pa.), who each received
two first-place votes.
So far in the 2009 season, the Golden Bears have split two
doubleheaders with Barton College to give them a 2-2 record.
KU is set to play in the Builder Invitational, starting with
Lock Haven on Thursday at 6 p.m. The PSAC East divisional
play will begin March 13, when KU hosts East Stroudsburg.

Pink Zone initiative which raises awareness for breast
cancer on the court, across campuses, in communities and

in 2008.

MEN'S, WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAMS REMAIN RANKED IN REGION'S
TOP 10
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University men’s and women’s basketball teams
both remain ranked in the top 10 in the Atlantic Region poll
released Wednesday.
The women’s team
moved up from 10th to eighth in the region, while the men
remain at No. 5.
The KU men’s team,
coming off of an 84-79 win at Mansfield Wednesday night,,
are fifth behind No. 1 Gannon (16-2). Virginia Union (16-3)
is second, Alderson-Broaddus (18-2) is third and Indiana,
Pa. (15-3), is fourth.
Edinboro (14-5) is
behind the Golden Bears (19-3, 8-1 PSAC East) at sixth,
Johnson C. Smith (15-7) is seventh, West Virginia State
(16-4) eighth, Pitt-Johnstown (14-4) and Elizabeth City
State (15-6).
The Golden Bears
have won eight straight games, the second eight-game streak
for KU this season. KU opened the season going 9-0 and now
has won a school record eight straight PSAC East games.
Dave Ben (sr. Coatesville/Coatesville)
is averaging 22.5 points per game, including 26.6 over KU’s
last five games.
Stephen Dennis (jr. West Chester/Henderson)
is averaging 20.3 points per game.
Leading the women’s
poll is No. 1 California, Pa. (18-3). Indiana, Pa. (18-3),
is second, followed by Gannon (18-3), Charleston, W.Va.
(16-4) and Virginia State (14-4) who round out the top five.
The District of Columbia (19-3) is sixth and Fayetteville
State (14-5) is seventh. West Chester (14-6) and
Millersville (15-5) round out the top 10.
KU (16-6, 6-3 PSAC East) is coming off of 59-56 loss at
Mansfield Wednesday. The Golden Bears have been led by
Rachel Wisemiller (jr. Hazleton/Hazleton),
who is averaging 15.3 points per game.
Melissa McQuade (so. Pittsburgh/Shaler)
is second on the team with 15.2 points per game.
Both the men’s and women’s team will travel to Millersville
Saturday for PSAC East contests. The women’s game will tip

KUTZTOWN, Pa. —
Kayla Jones (fr. Johnstown/Westmont Hilltop) was
named the Northeast Conference’s of the Week for the
fifth time this season.
Kayla Jones averaged 199.2 over
five matches at the Delaware State Capitol Classic,
helping the Golden Bears win four. The only loss was to
Delaware State, where Jones rolled a 209. Jones’ high
game of the weekend, 216, lifted KU over Coppin State.
KU placed sixth at the Delaware
State Capitol Classic, going 5-5 on the weekend. The
Golden Bears opened with a 4-1 record on Saturday, but
dropped several close baker matches, including a 717-696
loss to Fairleigh Dickinson, and two 4-3 decisions in
best-of-seven matches to Maryland-Eastern Shore and
Sacred Heart.
KU will return to the lanes on Morgan State Collegiate
Classic on Saturday.

MEN’S SOCCER COACH ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Kutztown University men’s soccer coach Otto Ormosi
has announced his retirement, effective immediately.

Ormosi served as head coach at Kutztown from 1998-2008. He compiled
a career record of 71-126-13. He retires with the
second-most wins in KU men’s soccer history, while his
players earned 20 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
(PSAC) and nine all-region honors.
In 1999, KU won a school record 12 games, finishing 12-7. In 2000,
Ormosi’s team reached 10 wins for just the second time in
program history, ending up 10-8-1.
Ormosi came to KU from Raritan Valley Community College in
Somerville, N.J., where he was the head men’s soccer coach
from 1988-1997. Over his 10 seasons at Raritan Valley,
Ormosi compiled a mark of 102-66-12 and won two league
titles.

— Kutztown University men’s swimmer
Jack Crellin (fr. Pittsburgh/North Allegheny) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s Swimmer of
the Week.
Crellin helped lead the Golden
Bears to a 141.5-120.5 win over visiting Rowan University on
Saturday at Keystone Pool. He finished in first-place in the
100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.41.
He then followed that up with a top finish in the 200 back,
posting a time of 2:00.08.
This is the first Swimmer of the
Week honors for Crellin, who has helped lead the Golden
Bears to a 6-3 record overall.
Crellin and the rest of
the Golden Bears will return to action at the PSAC
Championships which run from February 17 to February 22.

KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— Stephen Dennis (jr. West Chester/Henderson) received
the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Player of
the Week for his performances against Cheyney and East
Stroudsburg.
Dennis tallied 28 points and eight
rebounds to help move the Golden Bears (18-3, 7-1 PSAC East)
into sole possession of first place with a 75-73 win over
Cheyney on Wednesday. He followed that up with an 18 point
effort in a 93-70 win over visiting East Stroudsburg on
Saturday.
This is the second Player of the Week
honor for Dennis this season, his first coming in week two.
He also runs the total for KU up to six on the season and three
consecutive for the Golden Bears.
Dave Ben (sr. Coatesville/Coatesville)
held the honor during the two previous weeks.
Dennis and the Golden Bears will return
to action on Wednesday night as they take travel to Mansfield for
a 7:30 tip-off.

KU WOMEN'S TRACK RANKED 11TH NATIONALLY IN DUAL MEETS
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University women’s indoor track and field
team is ranked 11th in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross
Country Coaches Association’s Division II dual meet
rankings, released Thursday.
Grand
Valley State University is ranked No. 1, followed by Western
State College of Colorado, Ashland University, University of
Nebraska at Kearney and Lock Haven University.
In its only scored meet of the season, the KU women finished
first out of 19 teams at the Collegeville Classic at Ursinus
College.
The Golden Bears have been lead by
Christina Costanzo (fr. Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan),
Cheryl Dingman (sr. Lansdale/North Penn),
Joanna Horstmann (sr. Downingtown/Downingtown West),

TEAM RANKED NO. 5 IN PRESEASON POLL

— The Kutztown University men's baseball team is ranked No.
5 in the Atlantic Region's preseason poll, according to the
National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
KU is joined by
fellow Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East team's
Shippensburg and West Chester, who rank No. 1 and No. 2,
respectively. West Virginia State (No. 3) and Pitt-Johnstown
(No. 4) rank just ahead of the Golden Bears.
The Golden
Bears, who ended the 2008 season also ranked No. 5, enter
the 2009 season led by pitcher
Darin Gorski (jr. Mount Joy/Donegal)
the No. 4 prospect in Division II.
Also returning in the KU pitching staff is
Trent
Mertz (so. Kutztown/Kutztown),
who led the team in appearances (18) and ERA (1.80).
Returning to the
KU offense is outfielder
Chad Lightcap (sr. Boyertown/Boyertown),

Quigley (so. Bensalem/Bensalem) and
Mike Kacelowicz (jr. Orwigsburg/Blue Mountain).
Lightcap led the team in batting average
(.355), hits (64), RBI (40) and slugging percentage (.583).
Quigley was second on the team in batting average (.345) and
second in slugging percentage (.487). Kacelowicz was fourth
in batting average at .305 and second in hits with 60.
The Golden Bears will start the 2009
campaign this weekend with a doubleheader on Saturday and
Sunday at Barton College. The doubleheaders will start at
noon on both days.

KU BOWLER JANAYA BUCK
NAMED NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
—
Janaya Buck (fr. Northumberland/Shikellamy) has been
selected as the Northeast Conference Women's Bowling Rookie
of the Week, the second Golden Bear to receive such honors.
Buck is recognized for her performance at
the inaugural Kutztown Invitational, where she posted the
eighth-best individual average (194.3) of 154 bowlers. Buck
had not topped 170 in any of her previous collegiate
performances until this past weekend as she helped the
Golden Bears to a 5-1 record in traditional game play.
She totaled a pinfall of 1,116 over a
six-game span, included victories over two NTCA Top-20
teams. Her career-high 211 score was a team-best in KU's
33-pin win over Norfolk State. Buck also had a score of 199
in the Golden Bear's win over eventual tournament winner No.
5 Delaware State.
Buck is joined by
Kayla Jones (fr. Johnstown/Westmont Hilltop) as Golden Bear bowler's to receive the NEC Rookie of the Week
honors.
The Kutztown women's bowling team will

KU NAMES DREW FOLMAR ASSISTANT FOOTBALL
COACH, OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— Drew Folmar will
join the Kutztown University football coaching staff in 2009
as the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach,
announced Thursday by head coach Raymond Monica.

FOLMAR |
Folmar was a record-breaking quarterback at
Millersville University from 1997-2000. He graduated in
2001 with a degree in elementary education and a minor in
athletic coaching. He was a four-time All-Pennsylvania State
Athletic Conference selection, three-time team MVP and
two-year captain. In 2000, Folmar was a finalist for the
Harlon Hill Trophy, awarded to the best player in Division
II.
Folmar set Millersville career and single-season
records for passing attempts, completions, percentage,
years, touchdowns and total offense.
He began his coaching career in 2001 as a
student assistant at his alma mater, assisting with
quarterbacks and wide receivers. In 2002, Folmar coached
quarterbacks and receivers at the U.S. Merchant Marine
Academy.
Folmar rejoined the Millersville football staff
as the wide receivers coach in 2003, where he remained until
the 2007 season. He was also the strength and training
coordinator, academic coordinator and recruiter in various
regions of Pennsylvania. While there, Folmar coached
current KU assistant coach Dan Csencsitz.
“We’re excited to welcome Drew Folmar to the KU
football coaching staff,” Monica said. “He was an excellent
quarterback at Millersville, and brings a strong resume of
playing and coaching experience in Pennsylvania to our
staff.”
Most recently, Folmar was offensive coordinator
and quarterbacks coach at the university of New Haven,
helping to reestablish that football program during the
spring and summer of 2008.
Kutztown was 5-6 overall, 4-3 in the PSAC East
in 2008. Folmar replaces Jeff Chillot, who was named head
coach at Schuylkill Valley High School last month.

— The Kutztown University men’s basketball team, which won
its sixth straight game Wednesday, moved up to fifth in the
Division II Atlantic Region poll.
The Golden Bears
(17-3) won 75-73 at Cheyney Wednesday, improving to 6-1 in
the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East.
Alderson-Broaddus
(16-2) is ranked No. 1, ahead of Gannon (17-2). Virginia
Union (15-3) is third and Indiana, Pa. (16-4), is fourth.

KU WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ENTERS REGIONAL RANKINGS
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University women’s
basketball team has entered the NCAA Division II women’s
basketball regional rankings, released on Wednesday.
The Golden Bears (15-4, 5-1 PSAC East) are ranked 10th
in the 10-team poll, after not being ranked in last week’s
initial poll. California (Pa.) is first, followed by

KU WRESTLING RANKED 16th IN DIVISION II
KUTZTOWN, Pa.
— The Kutztown University
wrestling team moved up to 16th in the latest
NCAA Division II wrestling poll, announced Wednesday by the
DII Wrestling Coaches Association.
The Golden Bears, who were ranked 18th in
the last poll, moved up two spots. Nebraska-Omaha is ranked
first, followed by Newberry, Minnesota State-Mankato and
Nebraska-Kearney. KU is just behind Findlay and ahead of
Ashland.
Joe Kemmerer (sr.
Mountaintop/Crestwood) continues to hold the top
spot in Division II at 133 pounds. Kemmerer is 20-0 on the
season and has not lost in 31 matches, dating back to his
national championship season in 2006-07.
KU is 7-5-1 in dual meets this year. The Golden Bears
host Millersville at 7 p.m. at Keystone Hall on Wednesday.

KU FALL DEAN’S LIST INCLUDES 90 STUDENT-ATHLETES
KUTZTOWN, Pa. —
Kutztown University recently announced its dean’s list for
the fall 2008 semester. Among those recognized were 90
Golden Bear student-athletes.
Students must have a grade-point average (GPA) of at least
3.60 with the completion of at least 12 credit hours for the
semester to qualify for the dean’s list.
The 90 student athletes broke the school-record for a fall
semester. The mark was set last fall with 83 which was a
record-breaking number at the time. The record for a
single semester was set last spring, when 106 Golden Bears
earned the honor.
KU’s dean’s list student-athletes represent 22 sports. They

BEN AND McQUADE EACH NAMED PSAC EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KUTZTOWN, Pa. —
Kutztown University's
Dave Ben (sr. Coatesville/Coatesville)
and
Melissa McQuade (so. Pittsburgh/Shaler) each
received Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern
Division Player of the Week honors.

Ben,
honored for the second straight week, is honored for a week
in which he netted 67 points in two Golden Bear victories to
help keep them tied atop the PSAC East standings.
His 36 point effort
against West Chester one Wednesday was a career-high, a week
after moving into first in all-time scoring at Kutztown. Ben
also had eight 3-pointers, which broke the previous KU
single-game record of seven.
McQuade
had 17 points and 12 rebounds in a comeback win over West
Chester as KU moved into a first-place tie with WCU in the
PSAC East.
She added 18 points and
15 boards in a 66-56 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday, to
give her nine double-doubles on the season.
The KU men's and women's
basketball teams will travel to Cheyney on Wednesday night.
Tip-off for the women is set for 6 p.m. and the men will
follow at 8 p.m. The men's game will be a matchup of the two
first place teams in the PSAC East.

GORSKI
NAMED No. 4 PROSPECT IN DIVISION II
KUTZTOWN, Pa. —
Darin Gorski (jr. Mount Joy/Donegal)
will lead the Kutztown
University baseball team into the 2009 season as a top-five
prospect in Division II.

Baseball America
ranked Gorski, a 6-foot-4 left-handed pitcher for the Golden
Bears, the No. 4 prospect in Division II.
Gorski was also named a “Player to Watch” in Baseball
America’s Division II Preview.
Gorski,
who last season finished 8-4 in 12 starts with a 2.43 ERA in
81.1 innings, went 5-0 in his final five PSAC East starts.
He had a 1.03 ERA in those five wins, striking out 34 and
limiting the opposition to 19 hits.
Overall, he had 83 strikeouts and seven complete games en
route to being named an All-PSAC East and all-region first
teamer.
Gorski and the Golden Bears will open the 2009 season this
weekend with two doubleheaders at Barton College. Both
doubleheaders, on Saturday and Sunday, will begin at noon.
The doubleheaders will mark the start of KU coach Chris
Blum’s seventh season as head coach. The Golden Bears are
coming off their sixth PSAC title and third in their last
four seasons.
