The Golden Bears (13-5, 5-3 PSAC East), ranked No. 5 in Division II, battled IUP hard and kept the game scoreless in the first half before dropping the match 2-0.

KU’s offense is led by Kelley Healey (sr. Toms River, N.J./Toms River North), who has nine goals and 12 assists, to give her 30 points on the season. Healey currently ranks second in KU history with 161 points, just one behind the record.

Hastings, NEW ZEALAND) has nine goals and three assists for 21 points. Carrie Healey (jr. Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) has five goals and is second on the team with five assists.

The winner of Friday’s semifinal will play the winner of the Bloomsburg and Shippensburg contest. Bloomsburg is ranked No. 1 in Division II, while Shippensburg is ranked No. 3.  Their semifinal will be played at 2:30 p.m.  Saturday's final is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at Bloomsburg.
