Recreational and Sports
Clubs
What is a club?
A club is a group of individuals who meet regularly to pursue an interest in a recreational or sporting activity. Membership in a club is open to anyone in the KU community. The organization of the club may be structured or casual. It may incorporate competition, instruction and fellowship or any combination thereof. Each club is developed, governed and administered by its student membership. The key to the success of this program is student leadership, interest, involvement and participation combined with professional advisement and mentoring!

Recreational
and Sports Club Council
(RSCC)
The Recreational and Sports Club Council is designed to promote mentoring, peer advisement and communal growth for recreational (performing) and competitive sports clubs at Kutztown University. Recreational and sports clubs are unique in that they are largely initiated, organized, managed and funded by students. These organizational characteristics provide many opportunities to learn valuable life skills such as management, organization, leadership, and social responsibility.
The RSCC presides over all University recreational and sports clubs in order to keep members aware of campus happenings, applicable regulations, funding sources and other important information. The RSCC provides talented athletes, who are unable to participate in varsity sports, the opportunity to continue pursuing their sporting passion. It also provides newcomers the opportunity to learn and experience new activities.
