homer in the sixth as KU stretched its lead to 7-1.

- Kutztown won, 10-9, over Missouri Western State.
Lightcap,

back-to-back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning to give KU the
lead for good.
Craig hit a
second homer in the eighth inning for a 10-8 KU lead.
McCardell came
on in relief and struck out the final batter to get the save.
Kevin Morganti (so.

pitched four innings with three strikeouts for the win.
McCardell was
2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI and a double.

- KU scored six runs in the ninth inning to come from behind and
defeat Fairmont State, 7-3.

- Kutztown knocked off Armstrong Atlantic, 8-5.
Craig gave KU
the lead for good, with a pinch-hit, RBI single in the fifth. He
added a two-run homer in the eighth for some insurance.

relief and got a fly out and then struck out the final batter to
pick up the save.

pitched six innings, giving up three runs and striking out five.
Weidensaul came
on the sixth, giving up the game winning run.
Morrison hit a
solo home run in the first inning to put KU on the board.
Francis Marion 12, Kutztown 4 (6 inn.)
- The Golden Bears scored two runs in the first inning, but could
not hang on and lost to Francis Marion, 12-4.

back-to-back doubles in the fifth for the Golden Bears two runs.

started its season at the Shamrock Invitational at Coastal
Carolina. In the mens events,

placed second in the 400 meter hurdles in a NCAA provisional time of
52.81.
