FRI 8/31 — at Bucknell Invitational —
KU opened the 2007
season with an unscored meet consisting of three-mile runs for both
the men and women. The women had three runners finish in the top 10
—
Kristin Cupido (fr. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan)
finished sixth (18:05),
Stephanie Williams (sr. Harrisburg/Riverside)
seventh (18:10) and
Joanna Horstmann (jr. Downingtown/Downingtown East)
ninth (18:23).
Tom
Mooney (fr. Churchville/Council Rock South)
was the only runner for the men to finish in the top 10 with a time
of 15:18, good enough for seventh. Rounding out the top five for the
women were
Hailey Dell (jr. Saranac Lake, N.Y./Saranac Lake)
and
Christina Reimer (fr. Chester Springs/Downingtown East).
KU’s top five men were
