scored 25 points to lead KU to a win over Mansfield in a PSAC East contest.
Ben
was nearly perfect from
the free-throw line, hitting 13-of-14 attempts. He brought his career total
for free throws made to 320, breaking KU's career free throw record.
Stephen
Dennis (so. West Chester/Henderson)
and
Nate Edwards (so. Philadelphia/Northeast Catholic)
scored 17 points each, while
Andre
Woodlin (jr. Philadelphia/Central)
added 14.

Woodlin
scored a career-high 22
points to lead the Kutztown University men’s basketball team in a rout of
Bloomsburg at Keystone Hall.
Edwards

Ben
also reached double digits for
KU scoring 17 apiece, while

finished with 13 points.
Edwards
hit three 3-pointers for
the Golden Bears and had four steals, while
Ben
led the team in rebounding with
eight and assists with five.
Ben

minutes and shot 5-of-9 from the field.

rounded out KU's scoring leaders with 12 points.

KU went 4-5 and finished
in 16th place out of 32 teams at the Morgan State Classic in Perry Hall, Md.
The Golden Bears went 3-1 Saturday in individual competition and 1-4 in
baker games on Sunday.
Jacquelyn
Heimbach (jr. Easton/Easton)
and
Kayla Stamm (fr.
Mohnton/Governor Mifflin)
led the Golden Bears in the
traditional games Saturday, posting averages of 196.6 and 190.6,
respectively.
Heimbach
had a high game of 224,
while
Stamm’s best game was
219.
Heimbach had the 11th
highest overall average and
Stamm
finished 16th. KU (41-41)
defeated Florida A&M 907-869, Wisconsin-Whitewater 911-908 and Norfolk
919-857 for its three wins. The Golden Bears’ only loss came to No. 1
Nebraska.
Steph Ray
(so. West Lawn/Wilson)
finished with an average of 177.2 for KU, with a high game of 196, while
Megan
Jonigkeit (fr. Langhorne/Neshaminy)
averaged a 170.6. Her high game
was 200. During Sunday's baker games, KU picked up 704-688 win over North
Carolina A&T. KU fell to two opponents that are ranked in the top 10 in the
nation, falling to No. 3 Vanderbilt 761-683 and gave up a late lead to No. 8
Arkansas State, falling 743-734. KU was also defeated by Elmhurst College
710-624 and Morgan State 727-702.

Shaun Crump (so. Boyertown/Boyertown) finished third (8:25.59). The
women's 1,600 relay team of Laura Deller (sr. York/Dallastown),
Heather Spangenberg (so. Clarks Summit/Abington Heights), Horstmann
and Doofan Tor-Agbidye (jr. Stewartsville, N.J./Phillipsburg)
finished first, setting a field house record with a time of 4:02.56, while
the 3,200 relay team of Williams, Katie Colburn (fr. Hanover/South
Western), Jessica Donovan (jr. Newtown/Pennsbury), Rebecca
Kerchak (jr. Sinking Spring/Wilson) finished third (10:21.87).
