Lightcap (sr. Boyertown/Boyertown)
both had a double and a home run to lead the Golden Bears over the
Golden Rams. Both players went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs
scored.
Corey
Buletza (so. St. Clair/Pottsville),
Michael Dugan (so. Ocean City, N.J./Ocean City)
and
Brett
Wigder (so. Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull)
each had two hits for the Golden Bears.
Dugan,
who hit a solo homer, scored three runs, while
Wigder
scored twice and
Buletza once.
Mike
Kacelowicz (jr. Orwigsburg/Blue Mountain)
and
Jared
Frey (jr. Mohrsville/Schuylkill Valley)
also drove in two runs.
Ryan Cassidy (jr. Langhorne/Archbishop Wood)
earned his fifth win of the
season, going five innings, allowing five runs on nine hits. He
struck out four.

pitched the final two innings, allowing just one run.

doubles for in a loss to West Chester.

win against Shippensburg.
Fitzgerald finished
the game 3-for-4 with three RBIs and one run scored. After allowing
one run on two hits in the first,

Arbogast (jr. Ambler/Wissahickon)
held Shippensbug to only one
hit the rest of the game.
Arbogast
struck out five along
the way to pick up her 15 win of the season. She retired the final
17 batters.
Krista

collected a multiple hit game, going 2-for-3.

hit two home runs and

hit a two-run homer
in the third and a solo blast in the fifth to lead the Golden Bears
to a win over West Chester.
Denlinger
finished 3-for-4,
with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Arbogast
pitched all seven
innings to collect the win. She allowed one unearned run on five
hits and no walks. She struck out seven for her 16th victory of the
season.
Cameron
finished 2-for-4 at
the plate, while
Kim
Morrison (sr. Newmarket, ONTARIO /Sir William Mulock)
singled and scored a run.

Denlinger

Cameron
hit back-to-back
two-out RBI singles to give KU the win.
Cameron
opened the scoring in
the game, hitting a solo home run in the fourth.
Mary Hoch
(so. Somerton/St. Hubert)
started for KU, pitching
five innings, allowing one run on three hits and a walk. She struck
out five.
Glomb
picked up the win in
relief her eighth of the season pitching two innings, allowing
just one hit. She struck out three.
Cameron
led KU, going 2-for-3
with two RBIs and a run scored.
Reifsnyder also
finished with two hits.

Denlinger
hit a two-run homer
in the top of the seventh to give KU a win over New York Institute
of Technology.

Hannum
had a pinch-hit
two-run homer in the fourth inning.
Arbogast
allowed only one
earned, on four hits and struck out two in 4 1/3 innings. Picking up
the win was
Hoch,
pitching the final 2 2/3 innings. She gave up one unearned run,
three hits and struck out three.
SUN 4/5 KU 5, Caldwell 5 (six innings)
KU was led offensively by
Schiavo, who finished
the game 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored in a tie against
Caldwell.

finished 2-for-2 at
the plate, collecting two RBIs and scoring a run.
Glomb
pitched four innings
and struck out five.
Hoch
and
Arbogast
each pitched an
inning of relief, with each recording two strikeouts apiece.

for KU. Goulet
won in the No. 2 singles and teamed with

in the No. 3 doubles match.

won in No. 2 doubles win and

at 3rd/6 at PSAC East Challenge KU
finished third at the PSAC East Challenge,
Christian Boutsikaris
(sr. Newton/Newton) led the Golden Bears.
Boutsikaris
nailed a NCAA provisional qualifying mark
in the hammer throw with a toss of 180-2.
Jason Rebuck (jr.
Southampton/William Tennent) placed behind
him in third (172-7) and
Sam Wall (so.
Newville/Big Spring) was sixth 151-0.
Rebuck
also placed second in the discus (144-10) and
eighth in the shot put (41-0 1/2).
Wall
was fourth in the discus (136-8) and fifth in the
shot put (44-4 1/4).
Greg Senatore (fr.
Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) had KUs
best finish in the shot put, placing fourth (45-1 3/4).
Cody Hartzler (sr.
Belleville/Indian Valley) and
Matt Cannell (fr.
Douglassville/Daniel Boone) each had
second-place finishes in the field, with
Hartzler
being the runner-up in the high jump (6-4 3/4)

each had second-place finishes for KU.

SAT 4/4 Women
at 2nd/6 at PSAC East Challenge The
Kutztown University womens outdoor track and field team finished
second at the PSAC East Challenge.
Melissa Fellenbaum (fr.
Landisville/Hempfield),
Cristina Reimer (so.
Chester Springs/Downingtown East) and
Ashley Pinter
(so. Bethlehem/Liberty) each picked up
first-place finishes for KU.
Pinter
placed first in the hammer throw with a toss of
159-8, while finishing second in both the shot put (38-4 1/4) and
the discus (125-7).
Reimer
won the 3,000 steeplechase (11:31.57), while
Fellenbaum
took the top spot in the pole vault (11-0
1/4). Rachel
Weigle (jr. Red Lion/Red Lion) finished
tied for second behind
Fellenbaum
(10-6 1/4) and
Alison Wise (jr.
Fivepointville/Garden Spot) tied for sixth
(9-6 1/4). Wise
also placed seventh in the javelin
(108-7).
Christina Costanzo (fr. Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan)
placed fourth in the triple jump (35-3) and seventh in the long jump
(16-7 3/4). In the high jump,
Amy Tucker (fr.
Ridley/Ridley) and
Jennifer Zook (so.
Lewistown/Indian Valley) tied for fifth
(5-0 1/2).
Cheryl Dingman (sr. Lansdale/North Penn)
and Katie Quinn
(jr. Glenolden/Interboro) recorded a pair
of second-place finishes on the track for KU.
Quinn
was the runner-up in the 100 (12.95) and
Dingman
was second in the 3,000 (10:46.64).
Samirah Barczynski (jr.
Mohnton/Governor Mifflin) finished sixth
(13.04) behind
Quinn, and
Cupido
placed fifth (10:57.04) behind
Dingman.
Joanna Horstmann
(sr. Downingtown/Downingtown West) was
third in the 800 (2:22.23) and fourth in the 1,500 (4:58.03). In the
800, Jill
Kostishion (fr. Hilltown/Pennridge) placed
fourth (2:24.67) and
Keri Brown (so.
Southampton, N.J./Seneca) was fifth
(2:26.95). Brown
also finished seventh in the 1,500
(5:11.43).
Kristin Cupido (so. Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan)
was fifth in the 3,000 (10:57.04) and

3,000 steeplechase (14:04.70). In the 400 relay, KUs team of
