hockey team used a solid second half to top Merrimack College 7-4

goal off of a penalty corner just before the end of the first half.

KU women's soccer team
opened up the 2009 season with an overtime win over Mercyhurst
College in a PSAC crossover contest.

popped the game winner over the goalies head :39 seconds into
overtime,

had the assist.
Chelsea Bressler (Cleona/Annville-Cleona)
scored a goal late in the first half to tie the contest at one.
Junior captain
Chelsea Deeter (Langhorne/Neshaminy)

Rozembersky (Roxbury, N.J./Roxbury),
along with the rest of the KU defense kept the Mercyhurst offense at
bay. Both teams provided stellar defense throughout the contest, as
KU freshman
Alyssa Hackelberg (Randolph, N.J./Randolph)
made four saves and earned her first collegiate win in net.
