      SUN 11/15 - CALIFORNIA 3, KU 1 (at NCAA Atlantic Regional) - Emily Froehlich (Perkasie/Penn Ridge) scored an unassisted goal in a loss to California (Pa). Keeper Alyssa Hackelberg (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) made five saves.

 

Women's Volleyball (16-13)

TUE 11/10 - SHIPPENSBURG  3, KU 1 (PSAC Playoffs) - KU was led by Katie Lutz (Greencastle/Greencaste Antrim) with 10 kills and no errors in a loss to Shippensburg.  Lindsay Confer (Wingate/Bald Eagle) had eight kills and 11 digs, while Cali Snell (York/York Suburban) had seven kills and three blocks. Dana Wright (Warminster/Saint Basil Academy) added 17 assists and Jamie Celia (Douglassville/Daniel Boone) chipped in with 20 digs.

SUN 15 - at Wilmington (Del.) - Melissa McQuade (Pittsburgh/Shaler) led a balanced KU scoring effort with 18 points and nine rebounds. Kristen Murray (Harrisburg/Trinity) added 17 points and nine rebounds, with Meredith Starr (Richmond, VA/Monacan) recording 13 points and six assists. Vivian Melvin (Chichester/Chichester) had 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds, while Rachel Wisemiller (Hazleton/Hazleton Area) and Chauntelle Schroeder (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/Mother Teresa) scored 10 points each.

SAT - SUN11/14-15 - NEC Conference Meet # 1 - Steph Ray (West Lawn/Wilson) led KU with a 192.6 average over seven matches at the NEC Conference Meet. Chelsea Adam (Reading/Exeter) was also a key contributor, with a 181.8 average. Adam had three matches over 200, including a personal high 222. Kayla Jones (Johnstown/Westmont Hilltop) had a team-high 247, averaging 184.4, while Kayla Stamm (Mohnton/Governor Mifflin) had a 178.3 average.

Women's Swimming (11-1)

Last Week's Action

SAT 11/14 - KU sweeps at Indiana Duals - Steph Jeppesen (Liberty/Bethlehem) led KU with a three-win performance. She met an NCAA 'B' cut time with her 2:25.72 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Jeppesen's other wins came in the 100 breast (1:07.65) and the 200 IM (2:15.27). Heather Wolkom (Rumson, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven) met a 'B' cut time in the 1,000 free with a time of 10:47.87. She also won in the 500 free with a time of 5:18.50.

Wrestling

Last Week's Action

SAT 11/14 - at Washington and Jefferson Open - Austin Williams (Pen Argyl/Pen Argyl) and Alex Depew (Wilson/Northampton) led the Golden Bears at the Washington and Jefferson Open. Wilson placed fourth, with four major decisions. Depew placed fifth with two pins and a major decision.
