women's bowling team is currently in eighth place out of 20
teams in the Jeanette Lee Invitational.
The
women went 4-2 in six matches today. Kayla Jones, Kayla

each bowled over 200.

The Kutztown University
bowling team is ranked ninth in the latest National Tenpins
Coaches Association (NTCA) monthly. It is the highest
preseason ranking in three-year history of the bowling
program. The Golden Bears moved up spot from its preseason
ranking.

The
Kutztown University women’s bowling team will conclude the
first part of its season on the road, in the Jeanette Lee
Invitational in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, December 5
and Sunday December 6. In a unique twist,
Kutztown will travel by
charter bus with Northeast Conference rivals Sacred Heart,
Long Island, and St. Francis to the tournament.

place out of 20 teams at the University of Maryland-Eastern
Shore (UMES) Tournament after walking away on Sunday with

The Kutztown bowling team ended a tough afternoon on opening
day of the NEC Conference Tournament, splitting their
matches 2-2. The Golden Bears lost their first and third
matches to Adelphi 1212-1185 and Sacred Heart 1308-1299.
Kutztown beat St. Francis 1273-1265 in the second match and
finished out the first day of the tournament beating St.
Peter's 1263-1174.

the Northeast Conference, according to the Northeast
Conference Preseason Coach's poll released Wednesday Oct.
28. Last year, in its inaugural NEC season, the Golden Bears
finished the 2008-09 season with a 98-54 record, and won the
NEC regular season with a 15-3 record.
