 PHILADELPHIA,
PA - Kutztown University's volleyball team set a program record
by winning its 20th victory in just its 24th match, defeating Holy
Family University, 3-0, Thursday night.
Lindsay Confer had 13 kills and
eight digs. Erin Waters added eight kills and two
blocks. Austin Kinney had 37 assists and 11 digs.
Nicole Biuso led the defense with 27 digs.
The trio of Katie Miller,
Kelsey Nester and Danielle Ozment had six kills each.
KU is now 20-4, reaching 20 wins the
fastest in program history. Last year's team needed 26 matches
to reach the plateau. Holy Family is now 8-18.
KU returns to action this Friday and
Saturday at the East Stroudsburg Friendship Tournament.
